Home Information Packs

Since December 2007 a residential property cannot be marketed without a Home Information Pack. This is the law.

We can provide a comprehensive lawyer prepared Home Information Pack at a fixed price of £350, inclusive of VAT.

The Home Information Pack consists of the following documents:-

• An Index
• A Sale Statement
• A copy of the Title Deeds to the property
• A Local Authority Search
• A Water Services Search
• An Energy Performance Certificate

We have secured the exclusive services of a firm of Domestic Energy Assessors and can arrange for this Report to be made very quickly. For the avoidance of doubt, the fee for this report is not an extra, but is contained within the fixed price of £350.

The Home Information Pack takes about one week to prepare and we will provide paper copies, copies by e-mail or a CD ROM whichever is preferred. We can send a copy to your chosen Estate Agent, but please be aware if you commission a Home Information Pack from Scott Bailey the Pack will belong to you, the owner of the property.

If you wish to commission a Home Information Pack in a hurry our accounts department can accept payments of £350 over the telephone if you have your debit or credit card details handy.
