Suzanne Sutherland

Suzanne was admitted to the roll in 1975, and is Head of the Family Law Department. She is an Accredited Member of Resolution and an Accredited Mediator. She has been a Specialist Family Lawyer for over 30 years. She is also a Collaboratively trained Lawyer and is committed to a constructive approach in all matters regarding relationship breakdown. The current edition of Chambers and Partners, the respected guide to the UK legal profession ranks Suzanne as one of the top three Family Lawyers in the South of England and describes her as “head and shoulders above her competitors” she looks at the bigger picture, which facilitates good settlements.

When not sitting at her desk, she enjoys sailing and regularly races her dinghy and other people’s keelboats. She is on the committee at Lymington Rowing Club and is often seen on Lymington River rowing in a coxed four.
