New Forest Business of the Year: Sponsored by Solent Partners

It is with great pride that we can announce that Scott Bailey is the 2023 New Forest Business of the Year. With candidates being selected from the winners of the 18 individual award categories, we faced stiff competition from many excellent New Forest businesses. Winning this award is testament to the hard work, dedication, and skill of every member of the Scott Bailey team. We are extremely grateful to all our customers and the wider New Forest community for the amazing support that has made our success possible.

The Brockenhurst College Award for Training and Development

The Brockenhurst College Award for Training and Development recognises businesses that offer outstanding opportunities to their employees, including training, career development and mentoring. At Scott Bailey, we are committed to giving our employees the support, guidance and opportunities they need to progress their careers. This ethos has been key to Scott Bailey’s success with many of our senior team having progressed through the company. We recognise that investing in our people and their careers enables us to achieve the best possible results for our clients. From training contracts for trainee solicitors to supporting future notaries and legal executive lawyers, we are committed to ensuring our employees have every opportunity to succeed. Shortlists and Finalists

In addition to winning two awards, Scott Bailey was also shortlisted for The Fordingbridge Print Award for Business Growth, and our very own Emily Drew was a finalist for The Southampton Business School Young Person in Business Award. The Business Growth Award recognises businesses that can demonstrate a clear growth strategy that has taken their business to the next level. Emily’s nomination recognises the positive contribution she has made to Scott Bailey, as well as our commitment to training and development. Working closely with our Training principal, Sarah Unsworth, Emily has been completing a two-year training contract, providing her with the opportunity to gain experience working within various teams and roles.

We would like to say a huge congratulations to everyone who played a part in the awards – from the organisers to the other winners, as well as Brockenhurst College for hosting the ceremony splendidly and to Careys Manor Hotel & Senspa for the fabulous after-party. It was wonderful to see so many clients and friends there, celebrating business excellence. With 9,000 businesses being eligible to enter the awards and 51 finalists being shortlisted, we are extremely proud to have come away with not one but two awards, including New Forest Business of the Year. We look forward to continuing to build on this success in 2024.
