On Saturday 16th May, Senior Partner Sarah Unsworth and Conveyancing Assistants Elaine Braime and Catherine Jones will be walking 26 miles from Sandbanks to Lymington for Oakhaven Hospice.
Oakhaven Hospice provides specialist palliative care and support to those facing life-limiting illness and their loved ones in both a home and hospice setting. The team of specialist Oakhaven nurses, doctors, counsellors and physiotherapists ease physical symptoms and offer psychological, spiritual and social support. Their care is tailored to suit the needs of each individual and, with a blend of expertise and compassion, the team offers support for people when they need it most.
We wish them all the best as they take on this challenge!
Sarah’s story:
“Oakhaven are a fabulous organisation and have helped so many people that I know and hold dear. I am looking forward to an ice cream at the end of my half marathon walk 😂”

Elayne’s story:
“I have been battling secondary breast cancer as many of you know for the last 2 years and am on continual palliative chemotherapy age 58 to give me as much time as possible. Oakhaven and their amazing volunteers are a vital service, please give what you can ❤️ I am only walking a short distance in this walk, but present nonetheless ❤️“
We hope Elayne won’t mind, but we thought we’d share this brilliant photo of her running the London Marathon in 2019. We’re all cheering you on, Elayne!

Catherine’s story:
“This is an amazing charity that has, and is, helping friends at the moment. If you can donate anything big or small to get me to my target it would be most appreciated.”
