Scott Bailey is delighted to announce that Senior Partner, Sarah Unsworth, has been appointed as Junior Vice President of the Bournemouth and District Law Society (BDLS).

Established in 1893, the Bournemouth and District Law Society is one of the longest-standing legal societies in the region. Representing more than 600 legal professionals across Bournemouth and the surrounding area, it plays an important role in supporting its members through professional development, networking opportunities and collaboration, whilst promoting the highest standards within the legal profession.
Sarah joins the Society’s leadership team alongside newly appointed President Adrian Falck and Senior Vice President Lauren Day and will help support the Society’s work over the coming year. The new leadership team will be supported by Society Manager Mandy Heath, BDLS’s one full-time staff member and a real driving force behind the society’s ongoing success.
As Senior Partner at Scott Bailey and Head of the firm’s family team, Sarah has more than 20 years’ experience advising clients on a wide range of family law matters. She has particular expertise in complex financial issues arising from divorce and separation, including disputes involving property, pensions and maintenance. An accredited mediator and collaboratively trained lawyer, Sarah is committed to helping clients resolve issues constructively wherever possible.
