“Too many divorces end up in court” says Head of Family Courts
It has been recognised by the head of the family court system; Sir Andrew McFarlane, that one fifth of divorces are wrongly ending up in court. He said ‘Parents are fooling themselves if they think children are unaffected’ He went on to speak about the adversarial nature and language of court proceedings and how if you are the child of parents at odds with each other, that is unhealthy. ‘It does your head in to put it in straightforward terms’ he said speaking on BBC Radio 4. We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Wills & Probate Solicitor or Legal Executive to join our busy department based at our office in Lymington. Candidates should have a strong working knowledge within the area of law, ideally having gained 2-5 years post qualification experience. Other levels of PQE will be considered for the right candidate. The role would suit candidates who are able to run a case load unsupervised, but who are at a stage in their career where they may want to gain further knowledge in order to continue their development.
